Grada-Anjo (goes by “Anjo” pronounced An-yo) Wunderl, MSW, LICSW, is the owner
and operator of Grada-Anjo Wunderl, PLLC, doing business as A Peaceful Balance
Clinical Consultation & Counseling Services located in Nashua, NH. For the
past 14 years, Anjo has worked with adults, adolescents, and children in settings
such as community mental health, inpatient behavioral health, non-
profit agencies, and private practice. Anjo’s pronouns are she/her/hers.
In 2017, Anjo was recruited to join the clinicians at A Peaceful Balance due to her
sound skills and her warm, respectful, and non-judgmental manner. Anjo is trained
in and utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques in her work with clients, including
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Family
Systems Therapy. Anjo’s areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, gender
identity and transition, relationship issues, PTSD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As a Gender Specialist, Anjo has experience in working with individuals questioning
their gender identity, Transgender/Non-Binary/Gender Non-Conforming
individuals, and their families. Anjo has also facilitated support groups for
transgender and gender non-conforming individuals and their families.
Anjo hails from Holland and has lived in NH for the past 20 years. Anjo is an active
member of the NH Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers
and served on the Diversity Awareness Committee. Anjo is also a trained Master in
the healing art of Reiki, a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation
that also promotes healing. Outside of her work with clients, Anjo volunteers her
time to practice Reiki with those in need.
Anjo accepts Anthem/Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Optum insurance plans as well as
private payments
