Clinical Supervision for Professionals

Clinical Supervision for Professionals

A Peaceful Balance Counseling & Consultation Services provides clinical supervision resources for groups and individuals. We have over 20 years of experience providing group and individual supervision and consultation to human service professionals in both private practice and agency settings.

Are you...

...A new graduate just entering the mental health field in NH?

We understand the anxiety that goes along with trying to figure out all of the rules and regulations that you must meet before you can obtain your professional license. We also know that, increasingly, employers do not provide new graduates with the clinical supervision needed to obtain his or her professional license. While the rules allow you to obtain outside supervision, we also know that it is not always easy to “find the right fit” between supervisor and supervisee. We can help you navigate through the Board of Mental Health regulatory system and provide you with the supervision hours needed to obtain your clinical license.

...thinking about making the leap into private practice?
From information on how to get started through creating forms for your practice, we offer consultation tailored to your individual needs.

...an agency director looking for an outside clinical consultant?
We provide individual or group supervision at our offices or at your agency.

...an agency director looking for organizational help ?
We will help with program development, staff organization, creating legally and ethically sound polices/procedures and forms and more.

...a seasoned clinician in need of outside consultation?
Individual clinical consultation is available on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.

Are you tired of all of the agency “politics” and the stress that goes along with it? Are you ready to be your own boss? At A Peaceful Balance, we offer the tools and services you need to set up a legally and ethically sound practice. Our consultation services are tailored to meet your individual needs and include, but are not limited, to:

  • Free initial consultation meeting to discuss your needs
  • Completed “supervisory agreement” form required by the NH Board of Mental Health Practitioners
  • Assistance in exam preparation
