Mental Health Licensure – For Candidates

Mental Health Licensure

A Peaceful Balance Clinical Supervision & Consultation Services has the supervision resources that you need for your mental health licensure. Our registered and approved clinical supervisors have over 30 years of combined experience in providing sound and ethical clinical supervision and can help guide you through the licensure process. Whether you are a new graduate or a seasoned professional who has decided to pursue professional licensure, we can help.

We understand the anxiety that goes along with trying to figure out all of the rules and regulations that must be met before you can obtain your independent clinical licensure. We also know that, increasingly, employers do not provide employees with the clinical supervision needed to obtain a professional license. While the rules allow you to obtain supervision from someone outside of your agency, in New Hampshire that supervision must be provided by a supervisor who is registered and approved by the NH Board of Mental Health Practice. A Peaceful Balance maintains two approved supervisors, Lynn M. Kegley, LICSW and Patricia Zaremba, LCMHC (see List of Approved Supervisors ) who can help you navigate through the Board of Mental Health Practice regulatory system and provide you with the needed supervision hours.

Our supervision services include:

  • Free initial consultation meeting to discuss your needs
  • Required written statement describing how we will work in conjunction with your employer
  • Completed “supervisory agreement” form required by the NH Board of Mental Health Practice for all Candidates for Licensure
  • Assistance in developing required “supervision goals”
  • Assistance in exam preparation
  • Guidance in completing licensure application
